Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) is the skill of placing a web site in the major search engines, primarily Google, at the best possible place with the aim always set to be number one!
This is a phrase I hear a lot from companies, usually when they are sitting quite happily at the top of Google for their own name. Getting to number one for your name, however, is easy, but what about for your service. How many potential customers type in your name and how many search for your product. SEO is a skill, it is an ever-changing field as the search engines get better at detecting SEO work and SEO consultants get better at beating them.
The client will provide me with the keywords or key-phrases that they wish to appear well in Google for, I then make the necessary changes to their web site as well as building traffic externally, in order to generate interest in the web site. Over time this increases the position in Google. Time-scale is always a difficult one to predict but it is not an overnight task, I usually take SEO contracts on for three to six months.

Pay Per Click (PPC) adverts are positioned at the top and to the right of Google and although match the search made, are not the best solution, just the one that paid to be there. This means that you can be visible in Google immediately for your keywords, just at a cost!
I have several years experience of running PPC campaigns, and can set up and manage your advertising campaign and budget however you would like. You can set a maximum spend per click, daily limits or target me on a CPS or CPA basis.
The price of the advertising depends heavily on the market, I have clients who pay a few pence a click and other who pay several pounds a click. As for my fees, I charge 10% of the monthly advertising spend, with a minimum spend requirement.

The most attractive part of lead generation is the fact there is no initial fee to the client, payment is made on a cost per sale or cost per application basis after I start passing leads through to you. This means that there is no risk, if I don't find you any customers you wont have to pay anything! If I do find you customers the cost is an agreed percentage or fixed fee per sale (or application), so you know exactly what you will make from each deal and cannot lose out!
